Malam Mohammed Rabiu Wada Elected Chairman of NIPR Bauchi State Chapter, Pledges to Build on Past Achievements

 The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Bauchi State Chapter held its 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, where Malam Mohammed Rabiu Wada, Deputy Registrar of Public Relations at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, emerged as the Chairman. Dr. Nazifi Abba Pali from Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi was elected as the Vice Chairman.
 
The newly elected leaders will oversee the chapter's activities for the next two years. Mr. Inuwa Bello, Chairman of the Elders Advisory Council of the Chapter, introduced the newly elected executives during the event. Notably, all other positions within the executive council remained uncontested, resulting in the former executives being returned unopposed.

 

 
In his address, Mr. Bello praised the outgoing executives for establishing an equitable platform that enabled the council's growth and success. The newly inaugurated executive members include Mohammed Tanimu Gambo as Secretary, Abdulkadir Shehu as Assistant Secretary, Muslim Lawal as the Public Relations Executive, Hassan Ismail as the Financial Secretary, Mrs. Aisha Bamai as the Treasurer, and Shamsu Dauda as the Auditor. Malam Mohammed Rabiu Wada, the incoming Chairman, expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of council members. He underlined his commitment to building on the accomplishments of his predecessors and enhancing the institute's reputation. Wada called for collaboration, assistance, and well-wishes as he takes the helm of the council.  
 
Outgoing Chairman Mr. Kabiru Kobi conveyed his appreciation to the members for their significant contributions, which played a pivotal role in bolstering the council's influence across both public and private sectors within the state. Hajiya Amina Katagum, the Keynote Speaker at the event, emphasized the importance of professionalism in communication with the public and organizations. She stressed that maintaining professionalism would lead to the enhancement of vital relationships. The newly elected leadership's determination to continue the chapter's growth and foster stronger connections within the state's sectors bodes well for the future of the NIPR Bauchi State Chapter.
