Isuokporo Daughter Safely Reunited With Family

Owerri, Imo State — Relief and gratitude have spread across Isuokporo community following the safe reunion of Miss Ujunwa Prisca Okanume, a daughter of Amaizar, Isuokporo, who was recently found stranded and in a vulnerable condition along Okigwe Road in Owerri.

The reunion was confirmed by the traditional ruler of Isuokporo, HRH Eze Barr. Darlington Ogbenna, through the Royal Palace. He described the outcome as a victory for compassion, vigilance, and communal solidarity.

Ujunwa drew attention after a disturbing video circulated online. In the footage, she appeared distressed and confused, calling for help while identifying her hometown. Reports indicated she narrowly escaped sexual assault by a man who allegedly pretended to be mentally unstable.

Kind-hearted Nigerians intervened quickly. Their actions prevented further harm and triggered a coordinated response involving community members, stakeholders, and the traditional institution.

In a press release signed by Mr. Stanley Alinoh, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Ezeanaeche, and made available to SkyDNews, the monarch commended all those who contributed to the rescue and reunion.
